lions

Lion is the top food chain and lion eats cheetah and zebra. There are large wildcats the weigh about 500 pounds (230 kilograms lion have light brown fur. male lion have manes around their necks. and lion live in Africa and asia called prides. they mainly live in areas called saran's. they hunt in tall grasses and rest under shabby trees. female lions give birth to two to four babies at a time. young lions are called cubs. in the wild lions live about up to 16 years. lions are the only wildcats that live together in groups. lions can jump forward up to 40 feet ( 12 meters ). lions rest between 18 and 20 hours each day. the lion looks like a cat but it is not a cat and it look like cheetah.

cheetahs

the cheetah is the second food chain the cheetah eats zebra. cheetahs are wildcats with long legs the can be 7 feet (2.1 meters ) long. their yellow of tan fur is covered with black spots. most cheetah live in africa a few cheetahs live in asia. cheetahs room grassy called savannas. female cheetahs give birth to three to five cubs at a time. in the wild, cheetahs lild about 10 to 12 years. females chirp to call their cubs. cheetahs hunt during the day. black stripes near the eyes protect the eyes from sunlight. the look like lion but fast.

zebras

zebra eat grass but cheetah and lion eat zebra. zebra look like horses with black and white stripes. zebra have short manes and long tails. zebras weigh about 600 pounds (272 kilograms). zebras live together in large herds in africa. some zebras live in dry or hilly areas. other zebras room grassy areas. female zebras give birth to foals. foals can walk an hour after they are born. young zebras stay with their mothers for three years.

the grass is give energy to zebra cheetah and lion. but grass get energy from water and sun.
