I hope your weekend was full of excitement and joy! It has been another busy and fruitful week at IGNITE. Thank you, families, as always, for your dedication to our campus and school community. As we take on the week ahead, I want to remind parents that our upcoming district ACP testing will begin next week, December 12th. Please ensure your students bring their technology fully charged to school daily. As shared in last week's SPARK, ACPs are critical assessments designed to provide us with information on where students currently are in preparation for academic success on STAAR and beyond here at IGNITE.


This week begins our 12 Days to Christmas countdown. Please see the activity dress attire flyer below for students who desire to participate.


Parents, please join us via Zoom this Wednesday, December 7th, for our Title-1, Parent-Student School Compact, and Parent Involvement meeting. I've included the information flyer for this event below for more details.


Lastly, thank you, IGNITE teachers and staff, for the wonderful things we see you and our students doing daily within the classroom. Parents, your children are working hard, and it is exciting to see the academic and social growth they are making here at IGNITE!

Parents, students are required to wear approved uniform bottom and shoes as they participate in the 12 Days of Christmas spirit Activities. IGNITE "All The Stars" WINTER DANCE PERFORMANCE:

Shout Out to Ms. Macias and the IGNITE 6th - 8th Dance Classes

Please help IGNITE give a big round of applause to Ms. Macias and the 6th - 8th-grade students in her dance class. The winter performance of "All The Stars" on Friday night was nothing less than amazing. Parents, thank you for supporting your child(ren). They all did a wonderful job.

IGNITE Office Hours:

Greeting parents,

We understand there will be times you will need to pick up your student early. Please note our daily office hours to support you when scheduling early pick-up of your child for appointments. All early pick-ups must occur by 4:00 p.m. as the office and campus begins to prepare for daily dismissal at 4:00 p.m. Thank you for your support.

IGNITE DRESS Code Expectations

"With the winter months approaching and the higher likelihood of rain, we want to remind families of our uniform policy. The uniform is made up of only the pieces in the picture below. We are aware that a vendor has been selling additional items with our logo, but they do not constitute the uniform.


Scholars should remove and store their jackets when they arrive either in a locker or their backpacks and ensure they have the full uniform including Blazer and Tie (tie for scholars who identify as male). Incorrect items will be confiscated after the student has been warned and can be picked up from the main office at dismissal."
