From the Desk of Our Principal
"Tell me and I will forget, show me and I may remember; involve me and I will understand.”
- Confucius
Watching the Biology II students campaign for the “best organ”, complete with mudslinging and campaign ads, reminds me of the above-mentioned quote. Throughout the campus on any given day, our students are actively engaged. Please read the link below on the Senior Service Day as another beautiful example of this active engagement. With over a 95% attendance serving six area locations, our students and faculty became the hands and feet of Christ within the community. Knowing our students and being a community of learners is at the heart of our mission.

New Student Scheduling Meeting
We are so happy to welcome our newest Saints to our community! In preparation for next year, the counseling team will host a meeting for parents of new students in the Pavilion on Tuesday, March 22 at 5:30 p.m. We will review course selections and other pertinent information for the upcoming school year. Click here to review the course planning guide and course request forms under "Resources". Please review this information and discuss your student's schedule requests with them prior to the meeting. Additionally, we ask that you bring a copy of your student's third quarter report card with you to the meeting so that the counselors can review it when inputting the students' schedules.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to Emily Pettaway or your student's counselor, Ms. Aycock (last names A-J) or Mrs. Segura (last names K-Z), if you have any questions prior to the meeting

Saints Band Members Rack Up
A few students in the Saints Band participated in McNeese State University's Regional Honor Band over this past weekend (March 3-5). Ragan Kee and Nicholas Spicer made Blue Band while Tyler Tran made Gold Band. Tyler Tran also received a scholarship from McNeese's Music Department. All three students spent the weekend rehearsing songs for their concerts. They learned 4 pieces of music in 8 hours. When they weren't rehearsing they were attending Master Classes for their specific instrument, or watching a concert provided by McNeese's Jazz Band and Wind Symphony. Congratulations to all!
