Next Student Materials Pickup Day
- Chromebook cases for ALL 6th grade and NEW 7th/8th grade students
- Supplies for 3rd quarter Art students
Materials pickup takes place at the main office (door #1) entrance. This is a curbside pickup. Families will drive into the main parking lot and stop at door #1 for their child's materials. A staff member will bring the appropriate materials to your vehicle. Please make sure to have a sign displayed in the front windshield of your vehicle that includes your child’s first, last name, and grade level. This will help facilitate quicker distribution of students’ items. You will remain in your vehicle at all times. Please wear a face covering, as you will be communicating with Jackson staff.

Supplies for In-Person Learning
We are busy planning for a smooth return to in-person learning and continue to focus on the learning of our remote students, as well. As we work with students to prepare for a change in our class time schedule, we would like to communicate information about daily supplies that are essential for all students. Students who are remote should have these supplies near their workspaces for easy access for both synchronous class time and asynchronous work.
Students who are returning to in-person learning should bring all supplies daily in a backpack. Students will not have access to lockers and will not be able to borrow supplies from the classroom teacher or other students. A fully-charged Chromebook is extremely important for all learners. Students must be able to access online platforms from home and from Jackson. Chromebooks will not be able to be charged at school.
Thank you so much for your support during our first semester! We are looking forward to a great second semester. Please feel free to contact your child's classroom teachers with any specific supply questions.

Student Academic Support Period
Curbside Book Pickup
We have expanded our LRC curbside book pickup hours. Hours are now flexible and can be scheduled at the convenience of our Jackson families' schedules. A reminder of the checkout process, including our flexible pickup procedures, is as follows:
- Students use Destiny Discover to select books and place them on hold for pickup.
- Students complete a form indicating the day and time they will be picking up their book(s).
- Pickup takes place at the LRC door (Door #13) located at the back of the building.
We hope you find this process convenient to meet the needs of families, as we want to support and encourage our students and their reading. If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Jilek, our LRC Specialist, at tjilek@d45.org.
Technology Support
