Third Grade News!
Ms. Button & Mrs. Malak
Week of April 27th!
Week Two was wonderful! It was fabulous to see all the Earth Day Recycled Projects that students created. There were many water bottle projects: boats, airplanes, a rat maze, a submarine, caterpillars, butterflies, an alien, and a bank. There were planters, binoculars, and other great ideas. We also had a blast with the Earth Day Scavenger Hunt! We hope it wasn’t too loud at your house!
Our goal with our assignments is that students do QUALITY work. We want students to check the comments we make on classwork that we return to them. Students will know that their assignments are complete when the work is returned with a grade.
We have adjusted our reading log so hopefully it will be easier to complete. The first reading log was hard to use on some devices. As always, send us a kind note (email, Bloomz) if you have questions or concerns!
We would like to give a Shout Out to all the Third Graders who have been participating in the Google Meets. They all have been respectful, patient, and funny! Great Work!!
Helpful hints for Google Meet:
- Students use headphones (it really cuts out background noises)
- Students mute their microphone until they need to talk or find a quieter place to sit. (which is not always easy!)
