Lytle Collegiate High School: September 2023

Message from your Principal:

We are officially back to school and are almost a month into it. So far, all is good as our students are working hard and managing the busy life of being high school students.

There are many, many things to get involved in here at the high school so I hope you will encourage your students to find their niche and get involved.

Here is an upcoming event:

This month, we will host a Fall Festival on our bye week, September 29. This will be a fun community event that will take place in our HS parking lot from 5-8:00 pm. There will be food, games, and lots of fun. After attending the festival, you can move on over to the stadium and watch our amazing band perform. Please make plans to attend and support our high school programs!

Parents, COVID is reappearing. Please make sure to take precautions to stay healthy and remind students to wash hands frequently. Students may bring their own water bottles to school as this helps them stay hydrated and healthy. We will continue to do our part by frequently cleaning our classrooms and restrooms.

If your student does have to be out, please ensure that they return with either a parent or Dr. note. Information on this can also be found in our District Handbook under" Absences."

It is going to be a great year as it seems that there is something wonderful happening each month. Keep up with all things high school by accessing this publication and by keeping up with the campus Reminds.

Thank you for supporting us and have a great fall season!

Go Pirates!!

Mrs. Stewart

These tests serve as a tool to determine student growth, improve learning, and guide instruction.

We ask for your assistance in making sure students are present, well rested, and ready to test on these days. They will need to bring their charged Chromebook and their charger.

Updates from CTE & PTECH

The curriculum in the Business Management program instructs CTE students on organizing, overseeing, and harmonizing an organization's administrative functions and activities. Through this educational track, students will acquire the abilities required to create policies, handle day-to-day affairs, and distribute resources like materials and personnel. Additionally, this program will expose students to tools for mathematical modeling and techniques for assessing organizational performance.
