Dear Hózhó Families,
Thank you to our families who came out to volunteer and cheer on our Hózhó basketball teams in the Wolf Jam Tournament. Nice work athletes! Also, congratulations to our students who competed in a math competition where some will go on to compete in regionals.
MATHCOUNTS provides engaging math programs to middle school students to build confidence and improve attitudes about math and problem-solving. The Four Corners Regional MathCounts competition was held on February 11th in Farmington, NM. Hózhó Academy had some top finishers in several events:
Team Event, 3rd place:

- Austin Tanner
- Kreighton King
Individual Event, 2nd place:
Countdown Round, 1st and 3rd place:
- Ean Chisamore, 1st
- Tate Tanner, 3rd
Thank you to the parents and students that participated in MathCounts this year. The State Competition will be held on March 11th, 2023, in Albuquerque.

Bus Drivers Needed - Hózhó Academy is in the process of developing a bus transportation program for the 2023-24 school year. We are looking for bus drivers with a CDL Class B or Class A license with a bus endorsement. If you are interested in becoming a bus driver but do not have the necessary license, Hózhó will train you. Classes begin in early March. The training and courses will take time to complete so please do not delay in responding if you are interested. Candidates may click on this link to get started.
