    Next step of our Time Tracking Process - ACTION REQUIRED

    Now that you've tracked your weekly schedule, it is now time to go through and rate the priority of the tasks you completed during the week.


    Next to each item, label the task as a 1, 2, 3, or 4 (the image has a definition for each rating).


    Your action steps:


    • Create a daily percentage for each rating (e.g. on Monday, I spent 23% of my day on 1, 22% on 2, 38% on 3, and 17% on 4). Then add those up and create a weekly breakdown, too. If you choose, you can get fancy and create a pie chart.
    • Send me your breakdown for each day and the whole week (remember, I don't need to see your whole schedule, just the percentages).
    • In your email to me, tell me any a-ha moments that arose when reviewing this information, and anything you'd like to do differently.


    Next week I will add the final step (which I think I said this week was the final week, but alas, not quite), which is the actual time blocking.
