Summary

The two main sides were the Allies, which included France, Great Britten, verses Russia. Soldiers fought largely in trenches during the war, and thousands of them suffered from stress, well known as shell-shock. Around eleven percent of the population from France was killed or wounded during the war. By the end of WWI, over a million soldiers had been killed, and another twenty-one million wounded.
