Virtual learning continues
Our students continue to amaze us each and every day. They are attending daily sessions with their teachers and participating and learning.
We will continue to encourage students to have a designated work space that will allow them to keep their materials organized and easy to get too. Additional material pick ups are being scheduled by grade level teams. All students received a colored MPS reusable bag at our initial pick up. We suggest adding any additional materials to this bag. This helps students easily know where to get what they need. It also helps our teachers quickly tell students to grab supplies from their MPS bag. Your support with this is appreciated.
As we continue our journey with virtual learning, as a school we are continuing to make improvements to our instructional practice. If you have questions or concerns regarding your child's instruction, please reach out to the classroom teacher to discuss. Having a conversation directly with the teacher is the best way for us to continue to work together as a team during this new school experience.
Our technical support specialist, Mr. Shafer, continues to be available if you are having concerns with your school issued Chromebook. Please know the fee normally charged to cover Chromebooks has been waived. However, there is a fee if the Chromebook is broken and not able to be repaired. We know accidents happen. Please call the school if you need assistance.
We continue to love to see your pictures of our students learning. You can share them on Twitter and tag @PrincipalMPS and include the hashtag #knightpride.
Fondly,
Sandy Fox
Principal
