Heart-Felt Words of THANKS for All You Do for Your Students!

Dear NGHE Teaching Team and Support Staff-

We just want to thank you for everything you're doing to make NGHE Mondays so great! Your caring nature and your character are team traits that are valued more than any words can ever express. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents and gifts with students each week!

We know you put a tremendous amount of effort into your classes and the results are obvious. From the the kids' excitement for learning to the parents' mention of our team's caliber, you are impacting the lives of homeschooling families and it shows. THANK YOU!

We love our NGHE team!

As we progress through the semester, we just want to also thank you in advance for your continued support of five other important T.E.A.C.H. activities mentioned below. Implementing these five practices are critical to the success of the program and each makes a real difference for our students and parents each week!

Cheering You On With Much Appreciation,

Alex & Charlene

Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy, for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. - Philippians 1:3-6 [NLT]

Thank you for always...

TIMING your arrival to be no later than 10 minutes before class begins.

Class times are based on 50 minutes and many students (and sometimes parents!) will arrive to class within 10 minutes prior to class beginning. Being ready ahead of time by setting up your room and supplies so that you can welcome your students and begin classes on time is greatly appreciated! THANK YOU!

EMAILING parents each week to keep them up-to-date.

This includes a quick review of Monday's lesson, any homework you've assigned, and a look ahead to next week's lesson. Emails that are brief in nature- but consistent- help parents know the dedication and care you're providing each week in their child's education and enrichment experiences. Strong weekly teacher-to-parent communication benefits everyone. THANK YOU!

ACQUIRING supplies before Monday based on well-planned lessons.

The time you invest planning for your class does not go unnoticed! A creative, hands-on lesson often requires planning and procurement of supplies and careful management of expenses. Thinking through the lesson and gathering all the supplies you'll need for your class makes for an amazing enrichment experience for your students. THANK YOU!

CLEANING your classroom for the next class (and/or Tuesday's church use).

NGHE is so blessed to have North Lanier Baptist Church for its campus. With 59 different classes this semester, it takes many hands to keep God's house clean! Being mindful to ask students to assist in clean-up can be a great way to teach responsibility. NGHE is grateful for you and your students' efforts to push in chairs, straighten and wipe down tables, clean whiteboards, pick up any trash (and vacuum when needed). THANK YOU!

HELPING students stay safe while on the NGHE campus.

While kids are on the NGHE campus, keeping them safe is our number one priority. Homeschooling parents put a tremendous amount of trust in the NGHE program and you as their child's teacher. Whether it's stopping a student from running through the halls, making sure bathroom rules are being followed, seeking first-aid at the front desk, helping our K-2nd grade students get to their next class, or quickly reacting to a fire drill, your attention to student safety builds trust with NGHE parents. THANK YOU!
