Take Your Child to Work Day will be held on Thursday, April 27th. This is an excused absence for students. If your child will be participating, please complete the form above by April 24th.

*Poem in Your Pocket Community Event

On Saturday, April 29th and Sunday, April 30th, students are encouraged to stop in to participating local businesses and read or recite a poem. More information will be shared by Mrs. Wordelmann and Mrs. Ligameri!

*Reading Passport Challenge Winners

98 students turned in their reading passports for a total of almost 80,000 minutes!

Congratulations to the following class winners in each grade level:

For 3rd grade Mr. Elliott's class with 5,605 minutes

For 4th grade Mrs. Lerch's class with 11,645 minutes

For 5th grade Mrs. Adair's class with 6,061 minutes

For 6th grade Mrs. Messina's class with 14,478 minutes

Each class received a golden book box filled with a class certificate, two new books, a gift certificate for $20 towards classroom books from the book fair next month, bookmarks, lollipops, and a coupon for each student to purchase a snack from the cafeteria.

*Home and School Communications

H&S will be sending a communication each week on Wednesdays at 6:00pm. Please be on the lookout!

*Parent Drop Off

Please have your students exit on the passenger side of the vehicle as a safety precaution. This allows your student to exit directly onto the sidewalk.

*Attendance

If your child is absent or going to be late, please remember to notify the school by calling the attendance line. The school number is 856-423-0412. Press 2 for the Samuel Mickle School. Then, press 1 for the Attendance Line.
