A Note from Mrs. Cockrell
Dear Chisholm Trail families,
It's hard to believe we have only nine more school days this semester. Your children have learned so much! Our teachers are working hard to support learning over these final days of the semester as well as working on ways to support learning over the upcoming break.
They have planned fun learning activities to close out the semester and will celebrate with a pajama day on Thursday, December 17th and a Christmas party on Friday, December 18th. Your child's teacher will be sending you details for your child's class very soon.
We hope that you and your child enjoy the upcoming break and continue the learning. It is not difficult to continue the learning...play a game, read a book, write a story. We will be sure they come home with some books!
Before you know it, we will be kicking off our second semester in January. Please read the letter below from Mrs. Hundley to help us prepare for career week. This will be held in January and we need your help!
As we continue to work hard on campus to keep our children and staff safe, we are asking you to be diligent in reporting to us when your student is either having symptoms, has been exposed, or has received a positive COVID-19 test result. Should you have questions, you may contact me at ccockrell@sangerisd.net or our nurse, Courtney Lynch at courtney.lynch@sangerisd.net.
Don't forget to share a kind word or two for our teachers on the Chisholm Cheers button below.
Please note that we have an early release day at 1:00 on Friday, December 18th.
Thank you for sharing your children with us!

Career Week Request from Mrs. Hundley, Counselor
Hello parents,
Our career study this year, like many of our other activities, will be very different from years past. If any of you are willing to take a short video of yourselves at work for us to present to our students, please email me and I will send you the guidelines for the career presentation. I hope to have enough presentations so that each one will only need to be a few minutes long. I also want our students to be able to see you, our family, friends, and neighbors, doing what you do for a living. Our presentation is slated for January, but I want to have everything wrapped up before we leave for Christmas break.
This request is open to friends and relatives as well as other members of the community. So, if you know of someone willing to provide a career video please pass this along to them. In addition, If you have anything else career related to share with our students while they social distance in the building we would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you,
Debbie Hundley
