Come Learn With Us!
The church is getting back into its normal routine after the holidays, so we want to invite you to join us at one of our various Sunday School classes!
Children’s Sunday School
We have classes for all grade levels from Pre-kindergarten through 5th grade! We meet in the second floor classrooms where we watch videos, read the bible, and learn about our growing faith!
During worship, we offer nursery care for the youngest children. The 4-year-olds through 1st grade children are invited to join me for a Time for Children during worship and then head back upstairs for Children’s Hour.
Jr. and Sr. High
The older students, 6th-12th grade are invited to meet with Pastor Doug in the Church Office common area. He is teaching a confirmation class but always welcomes guests to the table! Students will talk about the development of Christianity, what it means to be a Presbyterian, and learn about their own, personal faith
Adult Classes
Topics in Life Today (TILT) meets in the Parlor. They are interested in how faith interacts with the world around us and love thought provoking discussion! This class is tailored to the interests of the participants and covers a wide range, with a primary focus on current issues.
The Adult Bible Study meets in the Library. This is a book and Bible focused class that loves to engage with the text and explore it in conversation with one another! If you enjoy reading new material and looking at Scripture in a new way, this is the class for you!
All of our classes begin at 9:00 AM and finish around 10:00 AM. After classes end, there is time for socializing over coffee and light snacks before heading to worship at 10:30.
We hope to see you in one of these classes, whether it is returning to your usual spot or trying something new! Liz is always open to suggestions and ideas about new classes or Bible Studies – in fact, she wants those ideas – and we encourage you to pass them on to her when inspiration strikes! Please contact Liz with any questions you may have about our classes. You can email her or call the church office at 610-933-8816.
A Moment of Appreciation
We would like to take a moment to thank Meg Fetter for all of her dedication and hard work to our Christian Education program. Meg's position as the Sunday School Coordinator ended in December but we are happy to announce we will not be losing her helping hands! She will continue to run the Children's Church Hour during worship. Thank you Meg, for everything!
We also want to thank Polly Viel for all the time and energy she gave to her Sunday School class, as she steps back from the classroom. Volunteering is a special kind of ministry, and we are so appreciative for those who give their time to our programs. We are very grateful for all the work Polly has done with the children of our church family! Thank you so much!
Childcare
If you are able to be in the nursery on a Sunday, please email Liz or the church office with your preferred date(s)!
Offering Envelopes
If you haven't received envelopes in the past but would like them, please contact the church office and we will issue them!
Sunday School Help
Teach a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. (Prov. 22:6)
We are looking for another volunteer to work with our 3rd-5th grade children! Being a Sunday School teacher takes only a small amount of planning time during the week and an hour on Sunday spent with our wonderful children!
If you are interested or if you have any questions about the responsibilities, please contact Liz or you can call the church office (610-933-8816).

Winter in Valley Forge
"The winter series will focus on water photography, sunrises, and more, and will meet at a variety of locations in the park. Join Ranger Jeff and each Saturday and explore the history and the art that is Valley Forge.
Photographers of all skill levels are welcome to attend and participants are encouraged to bring their photography device of choice (camera, tablet, cell phone, etc)."
Beginning Saturday, January 24th and ending Saturday, February 28th, the group will meet in a different area of the park to capture nature's beauty!
Take advantage of this free programming, right in our backyard!
You can follow @ValleyForgeNHP on Instagram and Twitter, like them on Facebook, and check their website to keep on top of their year-round events.
