Literacy
On Monday we were assigned to somebody and had to write a complement. On Tuesday we had to to do novel work and novel reading. On Wednesday we were assigned to an idiom worksheet. On Thursday we had to brainstorm ideas for our groups book preview. The book preview is for our novel. On Friday our group had to type up our news letter and that's what i did.
Math
In math we are working on fractions and decimals. My favorite part so far is using and making charts. We have also played Fraction Of and Fraction Top It. It goes with our fraction unit because they are fraction games. Imagine if Mrs. Price would let us play on cool math games too. There's hardly any math games on there! :-)

Social Studies
This week in social studies we are creating our class's toy company. On Monday we created some settings that are around a toy company. For example one area was the packaging room. On Tuesday we came up with jobs people would have when they worked at the toy company. Then on Wednesday we continued discussing jobs, and then we sorted them by whether they were goods or services. Lastly on Thursday we talked about what jobs can be found in the different areas around the company. The purpose of this activity is to have fun and also to experience and learn how a business runs. A lot of people are learning and having a fun time doing it too!

Then on Thursday we played musical bingo it was a lot of fun, and we learned some new instruments. Now on the last day of music we listened to the dance of the sugarplum fairies, and after that we played the song with Ms. Johnson's finger cymbals and triangles. The last part was a ton of fun.
