Physical Features of Africa

The Madagascar is an amazing and beautiful area which is located in the Indian ocean. The Madagascar is seperated from the east African coast by a channel that goes by the name The Mozambique channel. This is such an amazing area to be because the Madagascar is the fourth largest island in the world a it's made up of highland plateau. Finally, since most of Africa is overwhelmingly populated with Agriculture, the Madagascar would be a good area to create a farm due to all the open space provided.
The Congo river is an wonderful river made up of not only the Lualaba but, also the upper Congo and tributary the Luvua river. This river would be a unique area to live in because the Congo river is one of the largest rivers in the world. Also, the river flows for 2,720 miles through Zaire then leading to the Atlantic ocean. The Congo river at some parts can get to 4 to 10 inches wide. This river is a large source of hydroelectric power so you can most likely always have power and its more reliable being closer to the source of the hydroelectric power rather then being father from the river.
The Sahara desert is the largest desert in the world and a very unique area. The desert holds a area of 3,500,000 square miles and extends from the Atlantic ocean to the Red sea. Also, about a 15% region of sand dunes covers the Sahara desert. Due to the differences in the weather and all the sand in the desert it makes this area one of the harshest climates in the world and unfortunately the area lacks water, sparse vegetables, and it contains high dry temperatures. Finally, in the area 70% of the Sahara is covered with stone deserts.
Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and its located in Tanzania. Mount Kilimanjaro is a extinct volcano. Therefore, kilimanjaro no longer erupts. Also, a great amount of coffee and plantains are raised on the mountains because it's a successful place to grow crops and they're more commonly grown where the mountain is lower and slopes south.
