Principal's Message
Hello Seco Families,
We have now completed the first week of the 4th quarter! All students should be working online in all of their fourth quarter classes, including new PE and elective classes. If you are having difficulty accessing the courses, please have your child reach out to his or her teacher, counselor, or administrator.
The remote learning model will now continue at least through May 4th. The district will update all of us if and when that changes. Please know that the Hart district is in regular communication with and works in conjunction with our local elementary districts and the LA County Office of Education in making decisions about ongoing school closure.
Please note that the school site and offices are physically closed until we reopen, which is consistent with the order to stay at home because of the coronavirus. We are therefore unable to provide many of the services we otherwise could if the physical school site was open.
There will be no school the week of April 6-10 due to Spring Break.
Thank you for all of your support. We hope that you all stay healthy and safe. Together, we will continue to succeed. Have a great weekend!

Weekly Wellness
During this time of social/physical distancing and living in quarantine, behaving responsibly, helping those in need, and taking care of ourselves is extremely critical. Check out this article for some inspiring ideas about how to achieve all three of those things and have fun at the same time.

Are you looking for ways for your family to stay healthy and active at home? Our school librarian, Sarah Goodwin, shared some really cool information regarding free access, for students and teachers, to several wellness-related apps offered by Down Dog Apps, from now until July 1st. Down Dog offers apps for yoga for beginners, yoga, barre, HIIT, and 7-minute workouts. I spent the last week trying out their apps, and so far have enjoyed the different workouts available. If you are interested in trying any or all of these out go to https://www.downdogapp.com/ or https://www.downdogapp.com/schools to create your new account.
Virtual Gratitude Jar
Thank you to everyone who submitted messages of virtual gratitude. They really helped to brighten our spirits! If you would like to recognize a teacher, group of teachers, or other staff member who is making this experience easier, better, or even enjoyable for you, please take a moment to click on the link and fill this out, and we will share your kind words with them. Thank you!
