WATERPOLO
Emily E from Year 6C was awarded Fairest and Best U/12 for State League Waterpolo WA and highest goal scorer for U/12 competition.
Whilst they unfortunately lost their grand final to Melville 4-1, it was a fantastic season for UWA Cubs.

PASTORAL AND STUDENT WELL-BEING NEWS
It’s been a great start to 2021 here at HR. Our year 2D class have been participating in Aussie Optimism’s Feeling and Friends program and are excellent are recognising their feelings and body clues. We will continue into term 2 then 2C will commence the program. The first year 4 group of Seasons for Growth are halfway through their program and they are learning about change and the best ways they can deal with different life situations. Year 6’s have had a great start to Council Groups. They have been assisting the teachers in the classrooms, ran a school wide paper plane competition last Friday and you may have noticed how beautiful the Veritas and Canteen gardens are looking. Thank you to all students who are enthusiastically contributing to these programs and our staff and community for supporting them. Have a wonderful and safe break.

This May I am planning to complete the Conqueror Challenge - of climbing 4 peaks in the Stirling Ranges, in 48 hours!
This is a charity event hosted by Cahoots – an award winning West Australian Charity that supports families and children with disabilities and challenges.
Cahoots fund camps and programs for children and help parents with respite care.
