~ Message from Ms. Triplett ~

Howdy Wrangler Families,

Looking to this week, there is no school on Friday, March 17th. We are excited for our Spring Dance on March 31st! Be sure to buy your wristbands by 3/28 for presale pricing. Fire Up Your Feet is back and our students have loved it! Join our Wranglers bright and early on Tuesday and Thursday mornings to run with Ms. Hargrave. We have been tracking laps and seeing how far we can run! We are also in need of a new DAC parent representative. If you are interested or would like more information, please contact the office.

Please be sure to read the remainder of this email as it contains important information regarding Noetic Math and more!

Happy Trails!

Noetic Math

Interest Form Due 3/16

Grades 2-5

Our annual Spring Noetic Math Contest will take place during the month of April and is available to students in Grades 2-5. Students will take the test online after school on Wednesday, April 19th at 2:45pm.

The NLMC is one of the largest math contests in the United States for elementary and middle school students. Every year, more than 30,000 students across the country participate in the contest to compete against each other. The goal of the NLMC is to develop students' problem-solving skills so that they will become better thinkers and they will be better prepared for advanced STEM studies.

During the test, students will apply their problem-solving skills and math concepts learned in the classroom to solve twenty creative math problems independently. The top scorer of each team will earn a Team Winner medal. In addition, the top 10% of students in the nation will earn the National Honor Roll medals and the top 50% of students in the nation will earn the Honorable Mention ribbons.

All 4th and 5th grade students are welcome to join Mrs. Ackmann and Mrs. Young for additional practices. More information in the form that follows.

This form indicates your planned participation in the contest.

Forms must be completed by 3/16.

Fire Up Your Feet every Tuesday!
