A note from the teachers...
Next week is our last week before we are off for Thanksgiving Break. If you know that your child will be absent or checking out early any days, please let their teacher know.
On Friday we will be enjoying the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory to celebrate finishing our read aloud. We ask that Room Parents organize sending in hot chocolate and a chocolate snack to enjoy during the movie.
Most students have turned in their permission slips. If you have not done so, please sign and return those soon. Also, please remember to make your payment through My Payments Plus.
Have a great weekend!!

We will use a variety of nonfiction books to examine why these features are useful. Also, we will be finishing up our Read Aloud book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, by Roald Dahl. On the Friday before Thanksgiving Break, we will compare and contrast the book and movie using a Venn Diagram. We ask Room Parents to please organize for hot chocolate and a chocolate snack to be sent in on Friday for the students to enjoy during the movie.
