Alpha Delta Pi Beta Sigma
Happenings of our Chapter
Back to School
The Spring semester started in full bloom with new classes and a new year. To begin the semester, several of our officers attended the Alpha Delta Pi District Leadership Conference to learn about ways to better our chapter and to accept awards on our behalf. Also, we had several recruitment gatherings, including group dinners and Valentine's for Ronald McDonald House Charities that allowed us to get to know the women of Mercer University. From these events, we had the opportunity to expand our chapter and add some extraordinary women. Needless to say, this semester has been busy, but we are loving every second of it!
District Leadership Conference
DLC was a huge success for Beta Sigma! Not only did our officers learn more about their new positions, but they proudly accepted the Legacy Award, Ranked #1 on Campus Among NPC Groups, Panhellenic Excellence, Philanthropy Excellence, and Total Membership Excellence. We are so proud of the women in our chapter and all they’ve accomplished!
Valentine's for Ronald McDonald House
With all the excitement that surrounds Valentine's Day, we were excited to share our love with the local Ronald McDonald House Charity by decorating cookies and cards! The Beta Sigma sisters came together at the house to meet potential new members and spend time with the current members. Our sisters love any chance they get to be together!
February McMeal
We have always loved going to the local Ronald McDonald House in Macon, and Senior Brielle has some inspiring words on our work there. "Throughout my time at Mercer, McMeals have always been something I've loved to do. We go to the local Ronald McDonald House and cook dinner for the families staying there, and sometimes - like tonight - the kids will come down and cook with you. Mercer ADPi is extremely blessed to have the opportunity to give back directly to our philanthropy and I, personally, will always cherish these college memories."

Meet Kay! Kay is a sophomore Biology major on the Pre-Physical Therapy track. Not only is she a Tift and a Service Scholar, but she is a member of the Leadership Mercer program. In this program, she helps train upcoming leaders on Mercer’s campus in areas like leadership, ethics, advocating for others, and taking initiative to solve problems in our world. Kay is also Beta Sigma’s Philanthropy chair! She volunteers twice a month at Ronald McDonald House and is doing an amazing job incorporating RMH into our chapter. Kay is continuing her service work this summer on her Mercer on Mission trip to Peru. We are so proud of Kay and all she’s accomplished!
New Alphas!
We are pleased to announce the addition of these four beautiful women to our chapter! Throughout spring recruitment, many of the sisters got to know these women and saw how they would be great for our chapter. We are excited to see what they bring to Beta Sigma and Mercer's campus.
