Peru's Main Monuments
- Machu Picchu- A mountain with a broad base and ends with sharp peaks. It is on a mountain above Sacred Valley. The city consists of walls, terraces, and ramps that seem to be formed naturally in the Andes slopes.
- Chavin- Also located in the Andes. This site is the remains of the city Chavin de Huantar, which as a religious site. The site consists of temples and pyramids.
- Arequipa- this site consists of religious structures that can be found in the center of the city.
