FAMILY FUN NIGHT #2: October 21, 2020, Wednesday (5pm, 6pm, 7pm)
Join our 2nd Virtual Family Fun Night!
We will be playing SCATTERGORIES! Although we are physically apart, this is a great opportunity to connect and have fun as a school community! We will also have a RAFFLE for prizes at the end of each game time.
There are 3 time slots to choose from (5pm, 6pm, and 7pm) and so you can sign up for the time that works best for your family or if you have multiple children. Halloween Parade and Supply Pick Up - 10/30/2020!
Here is the schedule!
In FRONT OF SCHOOL
10:30 Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten
11:30 2nd Grade
12:30 3rd Grade
1:30 4th and 5th Grade
2:30 6th Grade
At the drive through park located off of Ocean View Blvd.
11:30 1st Grade
Halloween Costume Guidelines:
- Costumes are optional. Students are not required to dress up for the Halloween parade.
- You may decorate your car.
- Students must stay inside their vehicle during the parade and supply pick up.
- Costumes are to be school and age appropriate. They may not be skimpy or represent violent characters. No blood, gore, fangs, claws or weapons (or look-alike weapons) will be permitted.
- Costumes should not make fun of or reflect criticism of others.

Math Club is open to all 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students and will begin virtually. The first 40 students will be admitted. Mrs. Hickman is the club advisor.

Math Club will meet from 3:15 - 4:15 every Wednesday starting November 4th - May 19th excluding holidays. Once registration is confirmed, Mrs. Hickman will share the zoom link with families.
At this time, we are not formulating a Math Team, as the status of the District Math Field Day has yet to be determined.
Socially Distanced Picture Day! November 6, 2020
In the US Mail, families will receive picture day order forms. On November 6, based on family last name, we will invite all students to come to campus for a photograph. Specific guidelines to ensure social distancing and safety will be shared in a separate email the last week of October.
Please note: This photograph will be used for the yearbook and to create a composite class picture. Our goal is to have 100% of students photographed on this day! There is no purchase necessary to get your photo taken.
Parent volunteers can have their photos taken on Picture Make Up Day, December 11.

Pasadena Tournament of Roses - Day of the Dead Art Competition
Pasadena’s Tournament of Roses has partnered with Concamin, EWomenMX, Mexican Consulate in Los Angeles and the Roybal Foundation to host the first ever Day of Dead (Dia de los Muertos) Art Competition. Competition is open to students ages 4 - 18 for a chance to win scholarships and gift cards. Entries are due October 28. Winners will be announced November 2.
