Text-Dependent Questions November, 2014
5 Webinars to build toward a quality Close Reading Experience
Our webinar this month will be the start of a 5 part series on Close Reading. The phases of Close Reading are built on Text-Dependent Questions. We will dive into one phase for each session then have a culminating webinar in March where we will collaborate with our peers to put it all together to create an in-depth Close Reading Experience for our students.
Even though some of you are already doing Close Reading, we are making every attempt to deepen our practice so that we can provide our students with the rigorous learning experiences that one would expect as our parents make a significant investment in our program. Along the way everyone will learn more about the many ways to look at text and clarify our understanding of "What Good Looks like."
