The Rabbit in the Moon:
The Crane and the Otter:
The story about the crane and the otter says that a baby crane hatched too late in the year and was much too weak to fly south to warmer places. The crane asked an otter to watch over the colt and keep it warm. The otter put the colt in his warm den and waited for the When the cold came the otter froze and died. When the mother returned she found her baby. The young crane told her that the cold abused him but the otter treated him well. The crane was sure to hold up to her promise, so she found another otter and said "Henceforth the cold will never kill you." That is why an otter can live in the water all winter and never freeze.
