Emotional Intelligence
Emotional Intelligence is a key component in finding new things about yourself. Emotional Intelligence is the ability to be aware of, control, and express an emotion, and handle interpersonal relationships. I have a very high emotional intelligence. It is important to know how much emotional intelligence you have so you can see it you react to people well and results.
Social Style
Social Style is way you are around others on the mentally outside and inside. There two different social styles introvert and extrovert. Introvert is a person who is focused mainly on him/herself, is more comfortable when not in social situations and is very comfortable with being alone. Extrovert is a person who is focused mainly on others, is very comfortable in social situations, and is uncomfortable being alone. I am extrovert person and am glad i am because i can express my feels around others. It is important to know your social style so that you can tell if you express your feels or you don't.
Learning Style
Learning Style is way you learn the best in a classroom or on your own. There are three types of learning styles auditory, visual, and tactical. Auditory learning is when a person learns through listening. Visual learning is when a person learns through watching videos or someone else do it. Tactile learning is when a person has to carry out a physical activity, rather than listening to a lecture or watching a demonstration. When I took the survey I was 50% auditory, 40% tactile, 10% visual. It is important to know your learning style so you know what environment you learn best in.
Communication Style
Communication Style is the way you present and speak to others when you are calm, stressed out, sad, happy, and angry. There are 4 communication styles passive, assertive, aggressive, and passive aggressive. Passive communication is when you do not express my needs, desires and opinions directly and put others needs above yours. Assertive communication is when you clearly and directly express my needs, desires and opinions in a way which is considerate of others. Aggressive communication is when you are direct in expressing my needs, desires and opinions giving little or no thought to other people's. Passive Aggressive communication is when you indirectly make sure that others are aware of my needs, desires and opinions and give little or no thought to others. I am mostly aggressive and assertive. It is important to know your communication style so you know how you are speaking to people.
Grit
Grit is an attitude, a belief that you can conquer anything, if you stick with it. It’s a belief in yourself, a determination to win, a plan for success. Grit is persevering through your work and completing it when you set the goal. I have more grit than 80% of the United States and i only have 4.13 grit. So that shows that the United States isn't very gritty. It is important to have grit so you can stick with your goals and finish my assignments.
Positive Psychology
Positive Psychology is the scientific study of the strengths and virtues that enable people and groups of people to thrive. The study is founded on the belief that people want to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives, to cultivate what is best within themselves, and to enhance their experiences of love, work, and play. I believe in Positive Psychology and that if you stay positive and focus on your strengths you achieve greatness. It is important to have positive psychology so that you believe in yourself and so you know your strengths.
