Virginia's weather has been described as "Goldilock's Climate" which means it's not too hot and not too cold. The east side of the state borders the Atlantic Ocean and it borders 5 other states plus Washington, D.C. It has many rivers and has the Blue Ridge Mountains. In one area you can ski in the mountains and golf in the valley, both on the same day.
