James C. Maxwell was born on June 13, 1831. His work inspired Albert Einstein. He had invented colored photos. The reason that we can actually visualize the Civil War is because we have the colored pictures. If we didn't have colored pictures, we probably would have a completely different picture in our minds. James C Maxwell was a 19th century pioneer in chemistry and physics who articulated the idea of electromagnetism.

Maxwell's Legacy
Maxwell died in Cambridge, England. He died from Abdominal cancer on November 5th. Hid discoveries paved the way for many of the modern days technological innovations. He continued to influence physics in the next century. Maxwell's original house is now a museum - The site of The James Clerk Maxwell Foundation
