From the Office of our Maintenance Manager: Winter Break Shutdown

Dear Colleagues,

In an effort to conserve energy, the Maintenance Department and Energy Management Team will be shutting down the district’s automated heating/air-conditioning systems during the Winter Break.

This shut down affects only the automatic EMS (Energy Management System) that controls the HVAC infrastructure on your campus, and does not cover manually controlled environmental systems. To save energy, please adjust these manual systems so they do not operate in unoccupied facilities.

Of note is the reminder to unplug electrical appliances prior to the break. Our Energy Specialists will be conducting energy audits to confirm conservation participation at the site and classroom level during the break. To assist in this endeavor, our Energy Specialists forwarded the attached Winter Holiday Break Checklist for teachers and staff.

Feel free to contact us with any questions.

Club TC Showcase

I want to thank Ms. Bishop and our Club TC for hosting a fabulous After School Program Showcase. We had a full house even though we had rain. Performers from other middle schools showed up and we celebrated the talent that we have all over our district.

Thank you!
