COLLEGE DAYS
DANCING THROUGH THE DECADES
We are so excited about our 3rd Grade PTO performances coming up on Thursday! Please have your child wear his/her costume to school Thursday morning, as we will do a dress rehearsal for the school around 8:15 that morning. They are welcome to change into regular clothes afterward. We will meet back in our individual classrooms that night at 5:45 before the program. Thanks so much!
MATHMETICIAN CORNER
Next week we will continue to work on Subtraction strategies. We will be focusing on:
-using place value to subtract (regular algorithm)
-subtraction with regrouping
-subtracting across zeros
-using strip diagrams/number strips to model addition and subtraction relationships
