Mrs. Anderson's Classroom News

Starting on Tuesday, iPads will be kept here at school for our turn-in procedures. Please have your child bring his/her brick and charging cord by Tuesday to school. I have attached information that you should read over to prepare for this process.

Las Cucarachas

You may have heard that we gained some Madagascar giant hissing cockroaches as classroom pets. (They haven't hissed yet; they are actually quite friendly.) My husband said that I cannot bring any more pets home, so I'm looking for someone that would like to permanently adopt them. They are low-maintenance and tame. You will need your own escape-proof container to house them. Please let me know if you are interested and we will have a drawing next week.

Student-led Conferences

If you haven't turned in your conference form yet, please do so on Monday. I would like for every student to have a chance to go over his/her progress with you. :)

Summer Birthdays

I had some students ask if they could celebrate their summer birthdays here at school before it ends. That is fine if you want to send in treats the day your child wants to celebrate.

Busy Bee

We used part of our mini-mall profits to donate to the Organization for Autism Research. We are using the rest to go towards a visit to Busy Bee next week! Please sign below if you are ok with me walking your child there and then playing at Irquois Park for a bit.
