Don't Forget: Lunch on Thursday
Please sign up on the fridge in the lounge to bring a side dish or dessert to accompany the BBQ hotdogs that Billy will be making for us!
Mission Impossible Hook
This is a fun one because kids love to feel like they are trying to solve a mystery. Begin by choosing one of your teacher-directed lessons and design it so that the students are solving a mystery instead. Perhaps you create a scavenger hunt through the content. You may still present some of the information, but instead of just being passive learners, the students can actively work to ask questions and find additional information to help them "figure out" the answers to the mystery.
When you get ready to present the lesson, find the "Mission Impossible" theme song on Youtube and play it to get your kids excited for what's ahead. Remember, it's all about getting them hooked!
