    We are selling student picture FUN PACKS at parent/teacher conferences for $10. SJS will received 100% of the proceeds. Mrs. R will save the proceeds and do something special with the money for the kids!!! Please consider purchasing a fun pack at conferences!!

    Three Kings Raffle Tickets

    Per your Tuition Agreement Form, any unsold raffle tickets will be added to your FACTS account. Please turn in to the office no later than December 19, 2018. Thank you for your participation.

    Students Please Dress for the Weather

    Parents please be sure to dress your children for the cold weather. The kids will be playing outside during the cold months as long as our temperature is above zero degrees Fahrenheit. Students need to be dressed in hats, gloves, and snow pants in order to be able to play safely during cold temperatures.

    Boys Basketball

    We have wonderful news. Mr. Ruben Cevallos and Martin Perez, two former SJS coaches are willing to step up and coach boys basketball for the 2018-2019 school year. Practices will begin the week we return from Thanksgiving break. First practice is scheduled for Monday, November 26, from 5:30pm-6:30pm. Boys in grades 4-8 are welcome to participate in this sport. We are beyond excited for this opportunity. Thank you both for your service to our school!!

    Athletics Fundraiser

    World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser is coming to an end.

    Parents, please return the envelope with the $60 to the main office by November 12 or sooner. We have only 4 boxes left to sell. If you are interested, please contact Sylvia or Maria at the main office.

    This Means War!!

    Please help St. Joseph Student Council raise money for Catholic Charities during the month of November in a Coin War. Bring in your spare change for a good cause! The class who collects the most money, per student, gets a pizza party! We will be collecting coins from November 1st to November 30th. Results will be announced Monday, December 3, 2018.


    Coin jugs with the homeroom teacher’s name will be placed in every morning in each classroom to collect coins. Student Council will collect the jugs after school each day to total the coins collected.

    Counseling at St. Joseph School

    We are very excited to announce that SJS will now be partnered with Catholic Charities to provide counseling services and case management to our students. Teachers, parents, and administrators can refer a student to Mrs. Rybarczyk and she will contact Catholic Charities on their behalf. Counseling will be provided here at St. Joseph School once or twice a week. All counseling services are strictly confidential. Please do not delay in reaching out!     St. Joseph School and EMAUS are working together!

    We are working together to collect New toys for children 10 and under that are, and will be in the hospital during the Christmas Season.

    Toys will be delivered on December 20, 2018 to Vista Medical Center.

    Please send in your NEW toy donation to the office before December 18, 2018.

    St. Vincent de Paul Food Drive

    St. Vincent de Paul is having a food drive and needs our help! Each student is asked to bring in one food item from the list below to their classroom. Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets will be assembled and donated to families in need. Please consider donating today. Teachers will have boxes in their classroom to collect the food donations.

    Lunch Orders/Upgrade in the process

    Information sheets were sent home today! Contact Ms. Judy for help with the new process.

    Starting in December FSP lunch orders will be placed online. Ordering for January will begin in December and remain open until December 15. Parents can use their smart phones, tablets, or a computer. It is a very user friendly program, and if parents need help to register or order, Judy will be available to help. More information to follow...


    Reminder: November lunches have been ordered. If you did not order, please make sure to pack a lunch for your child/children.

    The Purpose of the Junior Legion of Mary is to help its members grow in holiness by a regiment of prayer and works.

    Volunteer hours for the 2018-2019 School Year

    Please contact the main office to schedule your volunteer hours. If you want to volunteer in our school you must be Virtus trained. Please contact the main office with any questions.


    We are looking for a few parents to do playground duty during the school day from 11-11:30 or 11:30 -12:00. Please contact the main office if you would like to help.


    A total of 26 volunteer hours will be required for the 2018-2019 school year.
