We Live the Word!
From the Principal's Desk
Dear Father Doyle Families,
Wishing you all a very blessed and peaceful Triduum! To mark Holy Thursday today, students participated in a unique "Living Stations of the Cross" presented by our middle schoolers. You can see photos from this moving presentation below.
Throughout Lent, our school community has been blessed with frequent opportunities for prayer, Holy Mass, and confession. We pray that, with these opportunities, our students and families may, in the words of Pope Benedict XVI "truly become bearers of Christ's light" and ultimately ensure "Christ’s radiant face enters our world this Easter." May we join St. Augustine in proclaiming "We are an Easter people, and Alleluia is our song," and may we celebrate all the more fervently the Good News of Christ risen!
After the celebration of Easter this Sunday, the school will enter April Break, with no school April 18th - April 22nd. With this in mind, and considering that many families will be traveling over the break, please note the school's current COVID-19 travel policies detailed below. In addition, the school will be providing free rapid test kits for students today for use by their families. These may be used at your discretion; however, a reminder that to return safely from travel, students who are not vaccinated must have a negative PCR test.
To that end, the school will be running a PCR testing event in the school gym on Saturday, April 23rd from 9am-11am. Please note that you must pre-register by Thursday, April 21st to to be tested at this event. Registrations will not be accepted after this deadline, and only those registered may attend. If you would like your student to be tested, please REGISTER HERE.
Thank you for reading this week's newsletter. May you have a blessed Easter and a restful April break. See you in a week!
God bless, and Go Saints!
Sincerely,
Mr. Peloquin

COVID-19 Travel Policies
Current RIDOH guidance states “if you’re traveling to Rhode Island from a location within the United States... you’re not currently required to quarantine or get tested after arrival whether or not you’re vaccinated.” However, to lower the chances of spreading COVID-19 and help mitigate risk within the school community, Father Doyle is requiring students who are not vaccinated who have traveled from a location for vacation or similar extended stay within the United States to submit a negative PCR test taken upon their arrival back in Rhode Island prior to returning to school.
Unvaccinated students choosing not to get tested will be required to quarantine for seven days while monitoring for symptoms before returning to school. Vaccinated individuals do not need to test or quarantine prior to returning to school.

Why: To support the Ronald McDonald House in Providence
How can you help? Save can tabs and send them in to Mr. Godin’s room.
Bottle Cap Drive
We’re excited to share that our school is part of the Coca-Cola Give program. This provides new funding opportunities to help improve learning environments for students. The best part? Donations don’t come out of your own pocket. When you make Coca-Cola purchases, you simply send in bottle caps or product codes from boxes of beverages and our school receives a donation.
All caps and codes should be sent to Mr. Godin. Codes will be entered on one account to gain larger and quicker donations.
Thank you!
