4C Studio Launched!
Mike Arsenault, Tracy Weinrich and Merry Stuhr were the recipients of a Yarmouth Education Foundation grant in Spring 2016. Over the summer, the former HMS Library periodicals storage room was transformed into a studio that is designed to support and nurture the 4Cs:
Collaboration • Creativity • Communication • Critical Thinking
Thank you, YEF!!!
Books for Louisiana!
Charlotte Agell (Yarmouth GT Teacher) and Merry Stuhr (HMS Librarian) initiated a school-wide drive to collect books for schools that had been destroyed in the Louisiana floods. The entire HMS community rose to the occasion and donated over 1600 books! The PTO is generously assisting with the delivery of the books to our Louisiana contact who will distribute the books. A deep thanks to all who have played a part in sharing the love of reading with students in Louisiana.
