It's Great to be a Rock!
A Word from the Principal:
Our staff also really appreciates the professional development we had the chance to do as a staff the first three days of the week. We were able to come together and align our school goals, our collaborative structures and truly prepare to make this a wonderful year at WHS.
Our theme this school year is "Unlimited Potential." This is a commitment to invest in our students and help them see all that they can be. It is a dedication to not give up on anyone; rather, we commit to provide supports and encouragement while maintaining the academic rigor this school is known for. We are excited to help each and every student discover that "unlimited potential." Looking forward to another great week!

Parking Info for 2022-2023
Students who have filled out this form may pick up their permit August 15-17 during their lunch periods.
Permits will be available as long as spots are available. Mr. Harris will be set up outside of the Rock Shop in the Learning Center during lunches on August 15-17 for students to purchase and pick up permits. Watch announcements for location. The cost of parking permits during this phase is $25. If additional parking becomes available during the school year, permits will be issued first-come, first-served basis from a waitlist that students can sign up on at the Info Desk. No money will be collected until an opening occurs.
Dress Code Expectations
Here is the language from the WHS Handbook:
"Freedom of expression may not be used to present material or actions which tend to be obscene or slanderous, or to defame character, or to advocate violation of federal, state, and local laws, or official school policies, rules, and regulations.
Students must wear clothing that provides proper coverage for a school setting (e.g. no exposed midriff, cleavage, or undergarments)."
Although dress code is secondary to what is most important, learning, we know that inappropriate dress can distract and take away from the learning environment. We want to make sure students are dressed in such a way that they are prepared to learn and participate fully in their classes.
