Principal's Message
Tomorrow marks the conclusion of the first nine weeks grading period. I would like to thank you for a fantastic start of the school year. Please continue to check ParentVue and communicate with teachers and school counselors if you have any questions regarding your student's academic progress.
As a reminder, Tuesday is a student holiday and teacher work day. School will be closed to students. Join us tomorrow at 4 pm at Meadowbrook High School to support our undefeated Lady Cougars in the second round of the girl's basketball tournament. Our Cross Country team will compete at Pocahontas State park Wednesday during the County Championship meets, beginning at 2:30 pm.
Thank you very much and remember that Tuesday is election day.

Veteran's Day Assembly
On Monday, November 11, our 8th grade band, Mr. Choate the 7th and 8th grade Chorus, and Ms. Barrus are presenting a Veteran's Day Program for all three grade levels in conjunction with the 392nd Army Band from Fort Lee. The program will be a recognition of what it means to serve and will include reflections on service as well as a power point presentation of extended family members in our Carver family.
If you would like to have someone included, please send a photo digitally to our choral director, Ms. Arianne Barrus at arianne_barrus@ccpsnet.net ! We would love to have a picture of the person in uniform (if possible) and their rank. If you don't know their rank that is not a problem! Please send these pictures no later than Wednesday, November 6.
Thank you for helping us to recognize the men and women who have served our country and defended our freedoms!!
