S'More From the A.P.
Week Ending August 28, 2015
Connected Classrooms
I am excited to send out the first S'More for this year! It has been a busy week so, it's short and sweet!
As you know, so many teachers from all over are getting connected and sharing with one another via Twitter. As a matter of fact, I actually have a crowd-sourced Google doc with the names and Twitter handles of classrooms around the world that are looking to connect with other classrooms/teachers. You can search the Google doc by grade level and follow them, interact with them, and they in turn will follow and interact with you and your class. If you are interested, the link is below. Please feel free to add your classroom and get started connecting!
TIP: Some of you have turned some of your Twitter account settings to private. In this setting, your tweets cannot be "retweeted" by anyone, and you will limit the number of classrooms who are wanting to connect with you. "Private" really limits the potential benefits of being a connected educator. Kelly and I both recommend changing this setting, and want you to know that it is okay to do so if you feel comfortable with that. Don't worry, as long as parents have given permission for photo's in a media release, we are all good.
The link to the "Great Twitter Classroom Connections" list is below. We encourage you to add yourself and join the fun!
