French Lead Teacher Project

Project description
Spend a half day with colleagues observing one of the District’s French Lead Teachers "en action".
Observe a lesson in the Lead Teacher’s classroom
Engage in professional debriefing conversations with up to four other teachers
Leave with concrete ideas for lessons to be used in your own classroom
The details
Who can participate?
Teachers who are currently teaching FSL or French Immersion
How many teachers can participate?
Up to 32 teachers from across the four leadership groups
When will this project take place?
During the month of February and March (dates to be determined)
Is there a cost to participate?
Supply teacher coverage will be reimbursed to the schools/part-time teachers will receive project pay
*This project is funded through the Official Languages in Education Protocol 2016-2016 grant for Edmonton Public Schools' Strengthening Literacies for All Students through Quality French Language Learning, Teaching and Leadership Project.
