The Acropolis of Athens
The Acropolis of Athens is a large complex of stunning temples. The citadel was built on a tall, wide hill. It extends 490 feet into the air. It covers at least 7 wide acres of land. The building process took thousands of different types of workers to make the sanctuary.
Although in ruins now, the Acropolis of Athens is still fascinating. It was very well made and thought out. You can still look at it today, and appreciate the architecture and hard work that went into it.
