Design a Dance Patch Contest
Sunny Palms 2015 Sweetheart Dance
Theme: Frozen
We reviewed the patch contest with girls at our last meeting. Girls can design a patch, and if the design wins the vote, it will be made into the 2015 dance patch that all the girls in the community will get to add to their sash or vest!
Directions:
1. Using the template linked below or on any white sheet of paper, design your idea for our “Frozen” themed Sweetheart dance. Colored pencils or crayons are recommended, but you can use colored markers. Write your name and troop number on the back only! All designs must be original!
2. Give the design to your troop leader by Monday, February 2nd to hand in at the Leaders Meeting that evening. Voting will be done at the dance by the girls in attendance.
3. Click here for the template. If the link doesn't work, then email me and I will send it to you.

Keep Selling those Cookies!
2015 Cookie Season Dates:
Jan. 5 - 25 - Cookie Presale
Feb. 13 - 15 - Cookie Delivery to Troops
Feb. 20 - Mar. 15 - Booth Sales
When you sell Girl Scout Cookies, you're doing more than just helping your customers stock up on delicious treats (and having lots of fun). You're doing it with a goal in mind. Whether that goal is a pizza party, a community project, or your first overnight trip with your troop, you know how many boxes you need to sell to make it happen. Girl Scout rules make things fair for all troops and communities.
You will continue to take orders until January 25th. On January 25th, parents will email me with their order totals, along with the rewards your Brownie has selected. The initial order will be placed. Girls will continue to take orders as well, but there will be intermittent cookie pickups throughout the rest of our cookie sales season. Girls will sell through March.
5 for 5 & Cookies for Troops!
What is the 5 for 5 program? The 5 for 5 program was designed to help girls/troops increase their cookie sales while giving customers a fun contest to participate in! When you buy 5 boxes of cookies, you are entered into a drawing to win 5 cases!
How do you enter into the drawing? It's easy! When customers buy 5 boxes of cookies, they will be given a 5 for 5 receipt with a code that can be entered on the Girl Scout website www.gswcf.org.
Don't forget - if customers purchase cookies for the military through the Gift of Caring program it counts towards the 5 boxes required to receive a 5 for 5 receipt!
