We Live the Word!
Friday, April 6
Dear Students, Families, & Friends,
It was wonderful to see so many of our grandparents - and grandfriends! - at Grandparents Day this past week! They enjoyed breakfast, generously sponsored by Riverview Healthcare Community, and a chance to browse at our Book Fair! We were blessed to have the Singing Saints Choir on hand to entertain our family members with a beautiful rendition of "May the Road Rise to Meet You." Middle school students spoke eloquently about our relationships with our grandparents as well as those who couldn't be with us today. Throughout the year, we have so many wonderful volunteers - many of them grandparents. This year, we are pleased to honor Coach Roy Dufour, Mrs. Laureen Cournoyer, and Mrs. Patricia Hincks as amazing grandparent volunteers! Teachers then welcomed our grandparents into their classrooms where they were able to take part in a variety of activities alongside the students. Our PTO president, Mrs. Christine Andrews, worked hard with her committee to make this day a success - we are so very grateful for the time and talent they share with our school. I would like to also thank Father Dandeneau and Father Fleming for joining us to celebrate this wonderful day and our pastor, Father Grenon, for everything he does for us!
As always, Thank You for your support of Father John V. Doyle School!
