Appreciation
R7 May Character Trait: Appreciation
"Nothing is more honorable than a grateful heart." ~Seneca
"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them." ~John F. Kennedyl
Seniors! SPECIAL REQUEST regarding scholarship offers/acceptance...
We are in the height of scholarship season! Hopefully you have been able to apply for some scholarships already. If not, please consider dropping by the Guidance Office to chat with me about any remaining scholarship opportunities.
I do have a favor to ask of you: if you have been OFFERED and/or ACCEPTED scholarship money, please communicate the name and total value of the scholarship with me ASAP. I need this data to wrap-up my year-end reports. [Ms. Keltner] can be reached via phone: 816/986-3051, via email: Jessica.Keltner@lsr7.net, OR in person in the Guidance office.
Thank you in advance for your assistance and best wishes throughout your future endeavors!
Seniors! Don't forget!
Lee's Summit R-7 Senior Class,
As you begin to count down the days toward graduation, we would like to give you notice about your school email and Google Drive account. Your account will remain active through June 2016, however if you are communicating with colleges, places of employment, the military, etc. you need to make arrangements to move material to a personal account upon graduation.
There is no action needed at this time. We simply want to begin to remind you that you will only have a small window of time upon graduation to transfer any documents out to another Google account or download files that you want to save to your own personal computer.
This video will show you two options available to you for getting items out of your LSR7Google Drive. Please try to do this within 30 days of graduation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Jp7oyJfHm0
If you have been using the @lsr7.net email account to communicate with colleges or other entities about your career plans, please begin notifying these entities and giving them an updated email address. Gmail addresses are available at no cost, so if you do not have a personal email account, you should consider getting one at this time.
The technology department wishes you the best as you graduate from the Lee's Summit R-7 School District.
