Description of the mountains and basin region

The Mountains and Basins region has very rocky and mountainous landscape. It also has an arid or dry climate. The Mountains and Basins region has a population of over 1,000,000 people. The Mountains and Basins region also has quite alot of spanish americans due to the fact that the west side of the Mountains and Basins region is touching the border of mexico. The Mountains and Basins region has many industries tourism and cattle. A major city of the Mountains and Basins region is Alpine which is located almost in the in the top middle section of the Mountains and Basins region and was founded in 1883 by a a brother and sister named Thomas and Daniel Murphey. A major state park of the mountains and basins region is the Hueko Tanks State Park which located right near the city of El Paso. Hueco Tanks State Park was used as a camp cite for native americans. A major physical pheature of the Mountains and Basins region is the Rio Grande wich a river which is Spanish for "Big River". The Rio Grande is located on the border of the Mountains Basins region. This river is typical to its envoironement because all it is a big river."
