Students in Mrs. Meads' third grade class worked on their engineering skills when challenged with the task to 'Build Peep Nests.' Students drew a preliminary diagram of the nest, constructed it via trial and error using toothpicks and jelly beans, and then analyzed what worked well and what did not. Everyone had fun and got a sweet treat in the end!
