Champions from the Start - Virtual Summer Summit
Family and Community Engagement Specialist
Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Specialists serve to connect families, school and the community. A FACE Specialist develops a strong partnership between families and schools by building parent capacity, fostering trusting relationships and ensuring two-way communication. Specialists are responsible for coordinating and conducting various family and community outreach programs. Specialists conduct informational meetings and provide guidance to families on how to assist students with reaching their academic and social goals. Specialists will also convey information regarding school and/or district activities and procedures and refer families to other agencies.
