APPRECIATIONS

THANK YOU Noreen Magaloni, Math Lead for your leadership and to Teachers for sharing your practice. These opportunities are great ways to get take aways that you can use right away with your students.


THANK YOU Luna dance for movement experiences that can be done with students.

THANK YOU everyone for your engagement in the work of selecting Focus Students and planning for ways we can improve progress for our students.


THANK YOU to the students who will represent our school this Thursday at the District Level Oratorical Festival.

FIELD TRIPS

We have $4,000 for Charter Bus Trips: If you are interested in booking a field trip, please let Ms. Cruz know by February 15 by submitting the field trip packet and giving her dates so we can arrange for a bus.

Wednesday: Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) Site Planning Retreat (we all meet at Child Development Center) 8:30-1:30

February 23: Faculty Focus Meetings, 3:00 pm: We will be the host school for Sankofa, Parker, and Greenleaf to join us at our school. Superintendent Antwan Wilson has been meeting with schools across our District to hear from Teachers and Staff to share our District mission, vision, priorities, and key strategies for the District. Schools will share successes, what we are celebrating, and areas for growth.

YARD DUTY SCHEDULES and RAINY DAYS

Starting this week we will switch yard duty schedules for grades 1-5. If you had yard duty in the mornings you will switch to the afternoons, if afternoon switch to mornings.


During rainy days we will use the schedule below. There will be an announcement from the office when we are on the rainy day schedule.
