Course Scheduling
4 Year Scheduling Plan
Sophomore Course Schedule Checklist:
- La Salle´s schedule has a 7 class period cycle. Students must have a class for each period. (Choose 7 full periods for each semester. Full-year courses are 1 credit. Half-year courses are .50 credits.)
- Students must take Religion, English, Chemistry, World History, Math, Language/Writing seminar, and Physical Education.
- Students who choose to take an arts course in place of World History must take World History senior year. World History is a graduation requirement.
- Review course grid for English, Math, Lab Science, Social Studies, World Language, and Religion tracks from 9th-12th grades.
- Review teacher recommendations and select the appropriate point level.
- If a student is inquiring about moving up a point level, students must seek approval from the classroom teacher prior to speaking with the counselor.
Submit course requests in Blackbaud. See your counselor for assistance.
Junior Year Course Schedule Checklist:

- Review course grid for English, Math, Lab Science, Social Studies, World Language, and Religion tracks from 9th-12th grades. Subjects such as Business, Music and the Arts can also be used to fill in electives.
- Review teacher recommendations and select the appropriate point level.
- If a student is inquiring about moving up a point level, students must seek approval from the classroom teacher prior to speaking with the counselor.

Senior Year Course Schedule Checklist:

- Students that chose an Arts elective as a sophomore must take World History as a senior (graduation requirement).
- Review course grid for English, Math, Lab Science, Social Studies, World Language, and Religion tracks from 9th-12th grades. Subjects such as Business, Music and the Arts can also be used to fill in electives.
- Review teacher recommendations and select the appropriate point level.
- If a student is inquiring about moving up a point level, students must seek approval from the classroom teacher prior to speaking with the counselor.
