Park View Newsletter

Mrs. Wallerstedt. 4/16/21

News for the coming week . . . . . . . .

We are now well into the third and final trimester of the year and I want us to finish strong. To do that, we need your help and support to keep our school environment healthy for our students. Bottom Line: As long as our school environment remains healthy, we can continue to offer hybrid learning so please only send your child(ren) to school when they are healthy. If they exhibit any symptoms of any kind, please keep them home and call the attendance line (827-4041). And keep in mind . . . . . if one child is home sick, and a sibling attends school in our district, they must stay home too. Both children must stay home for 10 days or until the symptomatic child has tested negative for COVID-19, or been provided an alternative diagnosis. We have seen an increase in students coming into school with sick siblings at home putting our student population at risk.

I am including the Wednesday Schedule and I continue to add events so please click on this link to review the dates/times and events carefully. This will give you up-to-date information as events are added so you can plan accordingly.

All parents of 3rd - 5th grade students taking the IAR State Assessment will need to RSVP if your child(ren) is/are coming to Park View next Wednesday (4/21) to take the Math session #1. It is very important that we know which students will be in our building each Wednesday for safety reasons. Please click on this link and fill out the RSVP form. If your child(ren) is/are not participating in the State testing this Wednesday, they should follow their remote learning schedule by participating in and completing the expectations on their Wednesday lesson plan page, and join their check-in and check-out meetings with their classroom teacher. Thank You!
