Witches Tea Party

If you would like to join the fun we are in need of several witches or wolves to appear on the K1 Playground. This area will be filled with several small tables creating a witches tea party. Set up your creative table and help us spook those who dare to enter our Haunted House. Please contact Ms. Then if you are interested

Reading Homework and Book Reviews

What should your student be doing to become a better reader? They should be reading something they like every evening for at least 30 minutes. Students will track their reading at school in their Reading Notebook. This year students have a requirement of reading 40 books. Our notebooks are built to track their progress and preference in reading genre which will be shared with you during parent/teacher conferences. Students will write reviews for each book they read during classtime instead of answering questions each evening. This will allow them to develop an authentic love for reading.

Please sign your child's agenda weekly to verify they are spending 30 minutes reading each evening,

Students will write assignments into their agendas. You can view our weekly assignments by following the link...
